5-Star Deluxe Plas Coch Holiday Home Park

Scolmore International has supplied a range of bollards from its Fumagalli Outdoor Lighting collection as part of the refurbishment programme for the grounds of the 5-star deluxe Plas Coch holiday home park in North Wales.

Set on the edge of the Menai Strait on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, award-winning Plas Coch is described as the ultimate luxury holiday lodge park. A truly exclusive retreat, it offers an exceptional lifestyle. At its heart is a beautifully restored Elizabethan manor, home to the Manor Bar, the 1569 gourmet restaurant and the Plas Coch Country Club. The last word in luxury is the state of the art spa, with indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool and treatment rooms including a salt chamber and ice room. The members-only Marine Club provides thrill seekers with the perfect playground to explore the safe Anglesey waters with top of the range power boats, RIB, sail, and access to canoe, windsurfing and much more.

A total of 90 Fumagalli Sauro Bollards were installed, replacing the existing old steel bollards with a modern alternative that provides a long-lasting, energy-saving solution. An antique green finish was used for the main driveway areas and a black finish for the rear car park and footpaths leading to the main house and leisure facilities.
All were fitted with low energy lamps.

Overseeing the specification and installation of the outdoor lighting products was contractor Jason Jones of CJ Electrics: “I’ve used Scolmore’s wiring accessories and lighting products across a range of projects over many years. What’s great about the Fumagalli range is that it provides the ultimate ‘fix and forget’ solution to outdoor lighting projects. The bollards we used are designed to last and have a lifetime guarantee against corrosion which makes them perfect for a project like this one. With no maintenance to be carried out and the energy-saving properties of the lamps used - it all adds up to a very cost-efficient solution.”
