Click Scolmore has announced a significant expansion to its Define flat‑plate wiring accessory range with the introduction of Matt Bronze and Matt Black finishes across the entire product portfolio. This update adds 170 new product combinations, extending two of the company’s newest and most in‑demand decorative finishes into its premium 6mm flat‑plate platform.
The Matt Bronze and Matt Black finishes were recently introduced to the Deco, Deco+ and Definity Complete ranges, where they have quickly become major specification choices. Extending these finishes into Define provides contractors and specifiers with consistent aesthetic options across multiple Click ranges, supporting unified project design and broader selection flexibility.
All new Define products in Matt Bronze and Matt Black are supplied with Click’s new installer‑friendly foam gasket. This updated gasket has been engineered for improved durability during installation, reduced visual intrusion around the plate edge, and a more precise flush finish that supports clean alignment on uneven surfaces. The enhancement improves installation efficiency while maintaining the premium flat‑plate appearance expected from the Define range and will be introduced across the full range in the future.
Define remains Click’s 6mm ultra‑slim flat‑plate system, designed for modern interior applications. The range continues to support full modularity, with all switch plates supplied modular as standard. The Click MiniGrid modules are all easily and quickly exchanged or mounted onto unfurnished plates by means of a simple single screw fixing, allowing installers to configure any plate combination required for any domestic or commercial environments.
The addition of these two new finishes extends the Define finish offering to seven options: Matt Bronze, Matt Black, Black Nickel, Brushed Stainless, Pearl Nickel, Polished Chrome and Stainless Steel. All finishes are available with black or white inserts, excluding antique brass, black nickel, and the new matt bronze and matt black variants which are available in black insert only.
