Improved protection with new 250A Top Shroud
Designed specifically for Elucian three-phase distribution boards with 250A incomers, the new 250A Top Shroud has been developed to help increase safety by covering live components and reducing the risk of accidental contact.
Compatible with Elucian's 250A three-pole and four-pole main switches, the innovative shroud simply slides onto the isolator and clips securely into place, providing a quick and straightforward installation process.
A key advantage of the new design is its suitability for both new and existing installations. Unlike some alternative solutions on the market that need to be fitted during assembly of the main switch, Elucian's Top Shroud can be installed retrospectively without the need to dismantle the mains switch arrangement. This makes it particularly valuable for contractors looking to enhance safety levels on installed boards without extensive additional work.
To support ongoing maintenance requirements, the shroud incorporates dedicated knockouts that provide easy access for terminal testing and neutral lug installation.
The new Top Shroud works alongside Elucian's existing Bottom Shroud solution, creating additional protection around live parts while maintaining accessibility where required for testing and maintenance. The introduction of 31 individual spare components allows installers to replace and maintain existing Elucian three-phase distribution boards without the need to replace complete assemblies. The availability of individual spare parts provides greater flexibility for maintenance projects, helping to reduce costs, minimise disruption and extend the service life of installed boards.
