Scolmore Group is delighted to welcome three new members to its sales team with the appointment of two Group Key Account and Specification Managers, as well as an Area Sales Manager.
Andy Cannell and Rachael McDermott join a growing specification team which has responsibility for creating demand for products from the Scolmore Group portfolio across a variety of sectors. Andy is covering London and the South East regions, and Rachael the North West.
Their focus will be on demand creation within medium to large electrical contractors, M&E consultants and specifiers and local authority and housing associations. Targeting residential and commercial opportunities, they will demonstrate the benefits of working with Scolmore Group and the company’s breadth of products and solutions that are particularly suited to their sector. They have a vast collection from which to draw, with Click wiring accessories, and Click Elucian consumer units, Ovia lighting and lighting controls, Unicrimp cable accessories, ESP fire and security solutions and Sangamo heating controls and time switches. They will work closely with the Area Sales Managers in their regions to ensure their work supports wholesaler stockists.
Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to his new role having spent more than 20 years within the electrical industry, predominantly in a sales role, including time working with some of the major wholesalers operating in the sector. Rachael takes up her new role following almost nine years working with a leading electrical wholesaler, progressing from sales executive to national account manager.
Taking up the position of Click Scolmore Area Sales Manager for Merseyside and the North West regions is James Flower. James joins the company with extensive experience of the electrical industry having spent more than 20 years with one of the leading wholesalers. He will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships with wholesalers and contractors to drive demand for the extensive Click wiring accessories and Elucian consumer units ranges.
