Scolmore have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our IEC Lock Team, assisting the IEC Lock Global Sales Manager in developing the export sales volume of our unique product range of connectors and cables. The IEC Lock Sales Executive is responsible for maintaining an existing customer base of distributors to maximise sales opportunities with end users, whilst also identifying and appointing new distributors to enhance market expansion and promotion of the brand.

Main Duties

Building strong sales relationships with existing client base and supporting approximately 20 IEC LOCK distributors in Europe.

Develop & improve our distribution network.

Promote the IEC LOCK range to end users (Medical, A/V, Data Centers etc).

Regular travel, visiting our customers in Europe to identify sales opportunities.

Participating in exhibitions – UK, Europe and worldwide as required.

Prepare pricing for bespoke products and supporting with customer enquiries – liaising with Customer Service, Technical, Data Quality & Supply chain teams.

Finding opportunities for new applications and products.

Sales reporting and analysis

Essential Skills and Experience

A minimum of 2 years sales experience.

Be proactive, committed and have excellent communication skills

Commercially aware with the ability to build strong relationships with worldwide distributors.

Have excellent customer service skills, in order to provide reliable customer support.

Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously

Analytically minded with a great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

Be able to travel within Europe and worldwide as required
