You are applying for Area Sales Manager - North West
Following huge, continued success for its Elucian range since it entered the consumer unit market in 2021, Scolmore Group is investing in a dedicated sales team and we have an Area Sales Manager covering the North West available.
The primary focus of the role will be developing and growing new business opportunities that will form part of a portfolio of Accounts. Having an excellent understanding of the marketplace, customer requirements and working in partnership with the relevant internal and external teams to build growth, retention and developing long term relationships and solutions for the customers.
Main Duties:
• Territory sales role selling Elucian products via distributors in your region (Push/Pull role).
• Sales out activity by way of pro-active support to new and existing distributors via Joint sales calls, trade counter & networking events, product training and demonstrations.
• Proactively build client relationships and maintain a strong pipeline.
• Present and gain agreement from the customer that ensures the customer sees our approach as added value ensuring it supports both customer and our commercial requirements.
• Work proactively with your portfolio, with a planned schedule of visits, using reports and information to keep the customer up to date, ensuring that you get the most from your visits and calls, maintaining CRM records at all times.
• Working simultaneously with your team and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Experience
• A proven sales professional operating at the minimum of high value account level.
• Focussed on being able to identify opportunities with both existing and new accounts and be able to strategically develop those opportunities within the set parameters of Scolmore’s Commercial trading philosophy
• Knowledge of the marketplaces or experience of similar markets
• Highly developed selling skills with excellent communication both F2F and written, with interpersonal skills.
• High levels of energy, commitment and tenacity with a strong understanding of the sales process and large accounts processes and buying behaviours.
• Computer literate with the ability to use word/excel/PowerPoint
• Ability to work on own, planning diary and working autonomously within your defined role.
• A full and preferably clean driving licence is required for this role
